Bob Chick - not much of an INTERNATIONAL athletes rep....
« on: September 26, 2007, 09:28:00 AM »

at the start of his radio show, he whined about how the santa susanna is not optimally scheduled for any competitors from America as they would have to fly back and forth to/from Spain a week from the olympia.

little does Bob realize but there are IFBB pros who actually live outside the USA. That show is obviously convenient for them to qualify. he probably doesn't know this as he hasn't really travelled outside the USA in his "athletes rep" position.

he should rename his title to "Athletes that live in America - rep"

So your point is that because it is good for people close to the show that it is a good thing then.  Screw anybody who has to travel?

I am sure your logic makes you a better rep then Bob  ::)

since there are only two IFBB pro shows outside of North America, maybe it's not meant to be convenient for US athletes

maybe its just the same reason everything else is crap in pro bb. poor organisation and global ties.

no one works together and everybody has personal agendas and political motives.

= crap.

I was thinking the same thing when Bob said that.  I say keep the Santa Susanna before the Olympia to get more of the Europeans and eastern hemisphere athletes into the big show.  (In fact, the IFBB needs to have a Pro Show in Asia to get more pros from that part of the world into the Olympia.  It can only help gain more of an audience for the Olympia and pro bodybuilding.)
