Iraq. We freed them. Now we're fixing all the oil pipeline that saddam was too lazy to put in. Also we're helping their people protect themselves by arming both sides of the civil war.

It kind of reminds me of those ungrateful bastards in Palestine.
Israel freed them from having to deal with the bureaucratic nightmare of administering huge chunks of Palestine,
but they don't seem too grateful either. And Syria doesn't appear all that grateful to the Israeli's for recently releaving them from having to pay the electric bill on one of their military installations either. There seems to be alot of ingratitude in that part of the world. Maybe the solution is to simply stop being so "generous & beneficent"?
