I've been slowly adding some barefoot to my lifts after reading about it online. I've always thought that most lifting shoes have too much cushioning and can lead to atrophied muscles in the ankle area.
I noticed an immediate difference when lifting barefoot(of course) I'm not ramming my heel into the ground like with shoes.
I do notice my foot skin is very tender for the gym floor so I'll have to build it up at a slow pace.
I know its not for everyone, I just wonder what you folks think about it.
