you got to admit. Dude even when arnold was given his gift in 80...he still looked damn good. Same goes for a few of the ronnie gifts. he was too big and cut to ignore...but this shit..he actually ran from the guy because he knew wolf was better....instead of taking his whoopin like a man he ran because he knew when the pictures came out if him posing next to wolf the world would see....also i hate how they fucked wolf out of $160k. It was awful.....these guys had a whole year to prep for this (well, most of them) and they came in looking like shit. I'm really shocked that Cutler came in looking like he did. I think he made too many appearances or something and never caught up.

thats probably a factor...but i think alot of it has to do with the drugs..they cant be as ripped with all the drugs they inject...specially not after years of abuse.

nasser was ripped in the 90s and used loads of shit but he couldnt be on top for more than 3-4 years. (95-99..his best years)

its the same thing now.... all the drugs cut down the number of years they can get in good condition and have that crispness.

I agree with that, but sadly, they've NEVER really seized the opportunity to gain credibility, so I guess the joke is on us for expecting any different this year.  This year was the perfect opportunity, as Ronnie Coleman was WAY off, so any sentimentality in his case was a non-factor, and Jay was WAY off as well (and in fact continues to get progressively worse).  It's like you can't have a one-time Mr. O because Jay's a nice guy and "good" representative and the Mr. O doesn't work like that or something.  It's sad really, as this is supposed to be the premiere no hold barred contest in the world where only the best are supposed to try and achieve their best, and it really doesn't matter, as the best man simply doesn't and can't win.  If it weren't for suspension-city, I'd love to see the majority of guys boycott the contest next year to finally get a damned change in the way things are done.
