Did Vegas have a betting line on the O ?

Vegas will bet on ANYTHING considered a legit sport.......even down to taking wagers on coin flips at NFL games.

Was there a line on the O ?

No line on the "O" in Las Vegas.

I'll do my best to get the official Gaming Boards ruling on that subject. I got the answer once but I don't recall the official response, but it was something about Bodybuilding and "subjective scoring" which carries the "possibility" of being rigged and screwing up the house percentage.

But don't place any validity on that statement because it is only what I can recall from asking that question many years ago which I may be recalling incorrectly now.

Will do my best to get a valid and updated answer though.

no, there was hardly a mention of the Olympia...The Olympia did not make much of an impact on Las Vegas. No headlines nothing. The sports board at the Mandaly Bay, where I was staying, did not give it a mention.  It took me till late Sunday to find out who won. Not many people were interested in it at all.

Saw like three or four bodybuilders the whole weekend, some  around the MGM, peoples looks and comments were pretty negative towards them, especially the female bodybuilders. In a town that likes freaks and extreme things, they didnt seem to like bodybuilders much...

When I got off the plane, the lady at the information booth asked me if I was part of the Olympia, I said no, she then said dont take those pills they take its really bad for you. In a town that loves freaks and promotes drinking and druggin, and sin,  they are offended by steroids and bodybuilders.....weird.

Basicly, bb is completely IGNORED by the outside world, except for a small cult following.
