Second, did Josephus, or Pontius Pilate's letters, say that Jesus rose from the dead? Did they mention anything about a virgin birth?

Wasn't Philo the eminent historian/writer of the time and a direct contemporary of Jesus?  He never wrote a word about him, about the miracles, the social upheavel or the like.

If you want to find info about Jesus outside the Bible it will come in 2 forms:


1.  Info that supports what Christians believe

2.  Info that doesn't which would make it false.
