As far as moving topics, this seems to be the only board where a mods actions get questioned non-stop.  Beserker is right in his support for BB's move and despite any one-on-one issues I have had with him, he and BB do a good job.

guys, there is actually very little deleting or moving in political.  We set it up to be that way and from what I can see it's still that way and that's the way I want it to be.  The other major forums on getbig do way more merging, deleting and moving by far.

I'm curious when is the last time those guys had any issues with moving threads? I can't quite remember anything other than that psycho Jimmy spamming the board with nonsense.

Is there any reason you're not addressing what I told you?  Whether you like it or not and no matter the motive, it's a valid move.  You can so easily remedy this with what I told you.  It's so easy.  Go to the thread, modify your original post adding the political angle.  Ask Stella to move your thread back and I bet you won't have a problem for one single second.  Had the political angle been posted, I would be siding against BB right now.

i don;t think I've ever actually moved a thread.  I've deleted quite a few though.

I posted on that thread when it was on the religious board and i could care less if it was on either board.

I'm trying to get the fundy Christians to say he's till going to heaven.....becuase he is  .....it's not a dead on that board, the resident athiests coalition representatives will be all over it like hair on a gorilla soon.

You know I respect your opinion so I'll let it go. Although I find it telling that neither Berserker or yourself either moved the thread or would have moved the thread. This board has always been well behaved and not overly modded, hopefully it will stay that way.

It's not a new agenda, I still think over policing kills the forum and should be kept to a min and just last week you saw me side on that matter.  Please keep in mind that there is more to making a political point than just appeasing BB or me.  It's also for the benefit/respect of the other forums like religious.  If we did not ask this of the people posting here, our mods would have no grounds in asking that political threads be moved here.  As a general rule of thumb, it would not hurt to post political angles when part of the topic has to do with another forum created for that area.  Such as a movie.  If I just up and post about V for Vendetta and said what a great movie and assumed people know why I think so, that's not fair to the Entertainment board.  So If I posted about V I would point out why or make some point that makes the posting in political obvious.
