Any good stir fry recipes?
« on: October 15, 2007, 11:01:00 AM »
I just recently got a wok but I havent used it yet. Anyone have any good stir fry recipes?  Was thinking of trying something simple like some chicken with mixed vegetables.

cook up some rice in a rice cooker or a pot and when it's done throw it in the wok with your chicken or beef and veggies, pea pods are awesome for stir fry, trim the meat with a sharp pair of scissors into strips too.

yeah it's pretty easy... it's a good idea to keep stuff like lemon grass (keep it in the freezer), fresh ginger (lasts forever in the fridge), sesame seeds (a little healthy fat), a good garlic/chili sauce and low sodium soy sauce around... using them will keep the stir fries interresting and tasty without adding a lot of calories
