I just want to say thanks for the bodybuilders on here who have made things clear for me. And others, I do respect your opinions and wont start crap with you, my mind is on this show, thats pretty much it.
I did not post a front relaxed shot and a back shot to say that I'm huge and ready to take on anyone. Not at all. I had a leg work out, came home, went in the backyard, it was a hot day, my wife grabbed her camera and she shot these pics to see how my conditioning is looking. I dont work with anyone, photos is all I have to judge is Im making progress.
I felt at 4 weeks out, My conditioning is really good. I posted these pics because I wanted to get some momentum down the stretch. I will keep doing what needs to be done i.e. cardio, training, posing, eating and tanning. I will improve. I will drop some more weight. Not too much, but my back, legs and waist will get tighter. I still have 4 weeks.
Thank god for weight classes. Because if not, I would not be competing. Im not sure people know there are weight classes. I barely stand 5'4" and weigh 165 in the off season staying lean by doing cardio and training. I have not lost much weight size the start of my prep for this show. Im not trying to bulk up, gain alot of weight, compromise my conditioning to be in a higher weight class. I want to be an awesome welter or lightweight, thats it. Im realistic and know that my genetics wont allow me to be more and im not willing to do what it takes to gain alot of size. I just dont care. Conditioning is key for me. In the lighter weight classes, in my opinion conditioning is what wins since everyone weighs about the same. In the lightweights, welters and middles, no one will really impress with size. Its balance and conditiong
I will continue to do my thing. I might post some pics as I get dryer and tighter. Im very motivated and have had this show in mind since my class win at the 06 USA. I have kept my diet clean, trained and never let my weight get out of hand. I have had a goal in mind for the last 16 months and I want to work hard to achieve it. Take care and keep your eye out for me. thanks alex
