IFBB World Champioship: What really happened
« on: October 30, 2007, 05:36:49 AM »
Even though my previous post was deleted

My previous post:

http://milossarcev.com/board/index.php?topic=8932.0

I just want to highlight that Bahrain team failed the test 3 times and never got a team suspension
Sami in 2004
Noah in 2005 (5th place in Asian championship) failed for the 2nd time got suspended 6 months even though it was his 2nd time –first tiem for winsrol in 2003 and for DHEA in 05- and did the world next year in 2006
S. Faisal (2nd in Asian Games in 2006)

3 doping violation and Bahrain was not suspended. also egypt failed with two athletes last year but didnt get pinalized either.

But Qatar did for a ridicules 18 months

Of course Bahrain will not fail any test this time. Cause they test 3 of the top 5 which are chosen randomly and guess what it not random.

They already paid to pass the test so they will.

The entire Qatar team has been disqualified for a period of 1 and a half year.  This is the first penalty of its kind.  Even in the contestation the team who violates doping regulation twice get banned for 1 year.  The reason behind that is Paul Chua want to give Bahrain more medals next year; but he has to take away the Qatar federation in order to do that.  So he banned them for 18 months which no one ever got that period of penalty to get what he promised the Bahrain federation for 2008 and guarantee more cash income.

Of course all of that is done in cash – hand to hand transactions meaning no receipt of proof that the money was transferred so no one gets questioned later.

The Qatar team is trying to pay more so they can get their players in again for the 2008 asian championship and world championship.  So all we can do now is wait and see who pays more.  Cause that is the way you can get medals these days

Pity

blame shouldnt be on bbers. should be on the suits who let them get away with failing a test.

Has it ever occured to you that the suits are all in this together?  It's beginning to look like this is the scenario.

Initially, it looked like only the SEA Games and the Asian Games results are tainted.  Now, it looks like the rot has spread to the Men's World Championship too!

Paul Chua is just the convenor, the go-to guy to fix judging results.  The ill gotten gains are then split amongst the suits!  This corruption scandal is starting to look like it actually goes higher than just Paul Chua.

How else do you explain the obscene haste to suspend Milos and dispose of his appeal?  In any other organization, "Show Cause Proceedings" would be instituted against Paul Chua when corruption allegations like these are flying hard and fast against someone.  In the IFBB, the complainant is asked to come up with "concrete proof" before any action can be taken.

If anyone from the FBI is reading this, and we know that you do monitor sites such as these, isn't this a federal offence?  Start an investigation against these crooks now...everyone from Paul Chua and trace the money from Paul Chua across the US of A to any officials who are in cahoots with him, right up to the President of the IFBB, Rafael Santonja!

I don’t think any of this maters. IFBB will continue what it is doing as long as the revenue is satisfactory and growing.

Milos thought that by being an IFBB pro he can make a difference, but it just backfired and he got suspended.  And the same scenario is still on.

Reporting Paul Chua to Rafael Santonja or Ben Weider is the dumbest move cause they are all in it and get a cut of the cake.  So now that the truth is out and people know that th shows are pre-set and winners are chosen according to the checks they submit before the show; people should know that this will continue to happen and no one can stop it.

Milos: I feel sorry for you. You think being an IFBB pro means a big deal to the IFBB, where it doesn’t and you are just a toy they paly with and entertain people.
I do appreciate your courage and sincerity but these merits don’t carry any value in the IFBB

Armageddon,

Everything is starting to unravel!  It would be interesting to examine the accounts of the IFBB.  My guess is that the organization is not a very profitable one (and it's not supposed to be) and the Sanction Fees and Affiliation Fees do not amount to a very inspiring figure.

These suits, from Paul Chua to Tony Blinn to Jim Manion to Rafael Santonja are basically volunteers.  Everything would be well and good if that's their heart's desire - to promote bodybuilding out of their pure love for the sport and for altruistic reasons.

The trouble starts when a crook penetrates the inner sanctum.  He realizes that there's a fortune to be made selling BB titles.  Paul Chua is this crook.  He starts with the SEA Games and Asian Games where he knows that National BB Federations are willing to pay him up to $100,000 for a Gold Medal in these Games.  After what's happened in the World Championship in Jeju, Korea (Asian and again under the jurisdiction of the Paul Chua controlled ABBF again), where not a single American BB placed in the top six, the writing is on the wall!  The rot has spread.

Paul Chua's modus operandi? What Paul has contrived to do here is to ensure that the BB's from the countries that have greased his palm are not drug tested, and even if tested, will have their results concealed.

The ill gotten gains are then split amongst the top officials.  Since the IFBB is not a very profitable venture, these crooks then succumb to Paul Chua's siren song of untold riches to be made manipulating and fixing the results of BB contests. The Olympia?  Santonja has taken a leaf out of Paul Chua's book!

The victims?  BB fans and BB competitors from all over the world who are participating in BB "shows" manipulated and "stage-managed by these crooks!

I call on the relevant law agency such as the FBI to launch investigations and a Congressional Committee to be formed to investigate Paul Chua and the crooks in the IFBB to help save the train wreck that is our beloved sport of Bodybuilding!

Go to www.arrestpaulchua.com and join the crusade to clean up the sport of bodybuilding!

Remember, boxing went through the exact same convolutions of match-fixing and it took Congressional Hearings to finally drive the crooks out and clean up the sport!  Just as is the case now, opponents to the Congressional Hearings asked for "concrete proof", but that did not stop Congress from acting against the crooks and the alphabet soup organizations in boxing!

Cant some one take all of this and submit it to Reuters??

Especially that Qatar was banned and Bahrain and Egypt were not.  That is the most obvious proof that having Bahrain pay US$60000 took the suspension away.

And when Milos just talked about the doping test; the Bahrain president went furious and threatened him with an act of terrorism by an official letter

Osama aims high for bodybuilding
By Edwin Ashie-Nikoi

1 September 2007

DUBAI — The newly-elected president of the Asian Bodybuilding Federation (ABBF) Osama Al Shafar says his objective as the head of the organisation is to improve the sport throughout the continent.

The 33-year-old from UAE, speaking to Khaleej Times by telephone after his election on Thursday said: “My goal as the new president of the ABBF is to support all the associations to develop the sport. We are going to work as a team and as one family. I can tell you that we started the moment I got elected as the new president.”

Al Shafar, the youngest president in the history of the ABBF, said he had personally given $130,000 to the ABBF for the sport development in the continent. Bahrain Bodybuilding Association has also contributed $60,000, UAE Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association $10,000 and Kazakhstan $5,000.

On his election as the new president, Al Shafar, the vice-president of the UAE Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Association said: “I am very happy and I cannot express my feelings. It is like a new born baby. This happiness is for all the people of the UAE who prayed and supported me.” Al Shafar’s mandate is for four years till 2011 end.

Al Shafar also expressed his thanks to Hussain Al Shafar who has also been elected as the head of the technical committee of the ABBF. “Hussain played a key role in my election as he canvassed vigorously and did all the communication to have me elected. He acted like my campaign manager,” he added.
The ABBF, meanwhile, has added 100kg and above to its competitions during the executive board congress held on Thursday. The board also suspended Malaysia’s coach, Milus from Serbia for two years. The Serbian attacked the ABBF secretary general, Paul Chua, during the Asian Games held in Doha last December.

Coach says Bodybuilding-Mr Universe robbed
Sat Dec 9, 2006 8:01 PM GMT
By Nazvi Careem

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - The furious coach of Malaysia's world amateur bodybuilding champion Sazali Abdul Samad branded the Asian Games competition a disgrace on Saturday.

Sazali, who won the amateur 'Mr Universe' title in the Czech Republic in October, had to settle for silver in the 65kg category after judges awarded gold to Mohammed Salem Abdullah Zahmi of the United Arab Emirates.

"It's a total disgrace," Milos Sarcev raged in The Star newspaper. "There is no aspect in which Sazali could lose even by a point to the Arab."

Sarcev said he had never witnessed biased judging once in his 15-year career as a coach before the Doha Games and that he would be taking the matter up with the sport's governing bodies.

"I heard that it happens in Asia but this is the first time I have witnessed it. What a disgrace," he said.

Poor judging was a feature of the whole competition in the Qatari capital, he added.

"In the 75kg, the Singaporean (Chua Ling Fung) won the title although he has no muscles."

Malaysia's National Sports Council (NSC) also weighed in.

"Sazali was the clear favourite and they fixed it to give the UAE athlete the gold," said Zolkples Embong, the NSC's deputy director general.
