There is nothing he could have done for his back. The fibers and bellies just weren't there. It wasn't due to poor training, not to say his training was great, but the back would have developed to the same degree as the rest of the body had he had the genetics.

And posing cannot be taught! From what I read he hired multiple choreographers and posing instructors. But it's not something that you can teach or be taught. Either you know how to pose or not. There is not even one single example of a pro who changed his posing style during his career.

All true, but geez  how much of a SPAZ do you have to be that you can't hold a fricken pose?

My 8 year old daughter can pose better than him :P

i believe posing can be taught like anything else. it's like learning the right groove for an exercise. all he had to do was follow instructions.

just like anything else, unless u master it, it will look off.

The photo is real, Paul had some shots taken prior to his recent comeback, this is a before photo, he hadn't trained in a while.

his biggest problem was a lack of hardness and detail throughout his upper body, with his back being atrociously smooth and unbelievably undedeveoped in the some of the back musculature.

he eschewed heavy hard training and it showed.

massive beyond belief though.

what a crock who cares what he 'could' have been fact is he wasn't.  As has been stated already chances are his back still would have been a weak point, Flex was better anyway.

dillett with a back like ronnie's (which i believe would be near-possible) would have won contests at average conditioning, as bbing contests are often won and lost on the back. dillett would have been almost unstoppable with a better back, better conditioning, better posing and better proportions. geez, i guess that sums most bbers up! dillet just had better genetics than most bbers tho, to make it a reality.
