Every single news report says the referendum in Venezuela is one that allows Chavez to rule for life, but I'm confused, I had thought it was only getting rid of term limits meaning he would rule for his life if the people keep electing him? Now I've yet to see anyone on any major media outlet anywhere cover pro-Chavez anything. Every single report is only from an anti-Chavez viewpoint no matter what, which is fucked up because there's a clear majority that thinks otherwise, I would sure like to see both sides. Listening to these guys, they're telling me this isn't just about term limits but will in effect provide him a permanent position as president. Anybody know if this is true or not? It's like pulling teeth to get any sort of depiction reflecting reality out of CNN/Fox/MSNBC etc. where Hugo is the subject.
