Isaac's scientific persona is a hero of mine no doubt. But his personality has a lot to be desired.
He personally had men sent to the gallows for counter fitting. He used his influence to battle a German mathematician over calculus (sure Newton created it first, but he used underhand tactics to confirm it to the scientific community).
I'm an atheist, but would you consider Newton a better model for life than say Jesus?
