I'm trying to lose lean tissue and lower my metabolism , to give body a rest. And then to start over in rebuilding a new physique.
I have weight trained most days for over 10 years natural prior to this.
First thing I did was stop weight training and I started very intense biking and running every day this has gone on for a year now.
Second I switched over to a low protein vegetarian diet, now vegan diet, with well under 100g of protein and fat a day
I have done this for about 3-4 months with very little result, the only difference is that I got down to an extremely low body fat. This was not my main goal, I was already very low.
Third, I now embarked on lower calories and less/no cardio.
What are my other options? Will protein fat based diet waste more tissue than a diet that has carbs in it?
What about no carbs, only fat protein + high cardio?
