He maintains that he has no idea how his test levels became elevated for the April 2006 test that earned him the 8-year ban. The ban has been reduced to 4 years, but if he can get the 2001 case cleared, then it's possible he could receive a further reduction to 2 years.

When I saw this skinny little kid flying down the track all those years ago, if he was taking anything, it certainly wasn't obvious in his physique. I think his growth came naturally as he matured into his frame.
I hope he is given the chance to compete again while still in his prime.
