The Reuters/C–SPAN/Zogby polling of both the Republican and Democratic caucuses in Iowa was right on the money – again – in both identifying the order of finish for the candidates and in the accuracy of the percentages identified in the final daily tracking poll, which was released Thursday morning.
Here are the pre-caucus projections, and the actual results:
Republicans
Mike Huckabee: 31% -- 34%
Mitt Romney: 25% -- 25%
Fred Thompson: 11% -- 13%
John McCain: 10% -- 13%
Ron Paul: 10% -- 10%
Democrats
Barack Obama: 38% -- 38%
John Edwards: 34% -- 30%
Hillary Clinton: 29% -- 29%
