The mrs has started taking clen, not ridiculous doses, just built up by 1 tab per day, each day until she got to 3.  She's taking taurine with it, and training.  Any ideas how to reduce the cramps?? we're talking waking up in the middle of the night screaming cramps :-[   she can handle the shakes!  what exactly is T3? and should it be taken with it no-matter what or is the clen ok on its own??  am observing her on the 2 weeks on 2 off, but still in the first week...

She just needs to get her sodium, calcium and potassium levels in controll...one of those is off and that's why she's cramping. When you take clen, you have less leeway for this.

Clen alone is fine, t-3 + clen equals stronger fat burning. And I don't care what anyone says, but guarantee someone will say it. Do not worry about shutting your thyroid down or rather her thyroid down by doing a run of t-3. This is perhaps the most exaggerated claim of all...even more so then liver damage claims.

BTW, 2wks on, 2wks off is not the most efficient IMO. Receptors do not get flooded in 2wks and then become non responsive...of course many will claim they do, but most of the time they are talking out of there ass and just like saying words like "receptor" lol!

Best way to run clen. Start at a low dose and ramp up slowly over the entire course of the diet...bumping it up 20mcg every 2-3 wks until you reach max desired dose.

Last thing, for those that argue this method, many will say that after 2wks they can't feel the clen...well, that's fine....feeling it means nothing...you may very well adapt to the slight stimulant effect, but that's OK, we don't' care about that, only the fat burning...and the 2 are not one in the same when clen is concerned.

thanks arnold jr, i just want a good nights sleep without being woken up by her cramping.  might get her to lower to 2 for now, while we can get her levels right.you say ramp up over the course, how long is safe for her to continue uninterupted, and should she come down slow too?  sorry bout all the questions.. but better to ask.

Most women don't need to go over 100mcg.

Duration, well it depends on the person, but 6wks at least. 8-10 max for most IMO but 2 of my girls I train stay on it for 16wks at a time and do just fine.

When she's all said and done, drop the clen down to 40mcg/ed for 1wk and then 1wk at 20mcg/ed...then come off clean.

Is there a way to test and see if the clen is still working when the sides stop? In the past, I've always ramped up my dosage pretty quickly as the sides started to fade. Consequently I've never made it more than 10-12 days into a cycle, haha.

If your fat loss stagnates, this might be a time to up the dose.
