And that figure is going to rise, I honestly make it a policy never to get involved with a woman that uses that site, you are asking for trouble.

London: Social networking website Facebook has been blamed for one-third of divorces across the world, according to a law firm.

The social network is increasingly being used as a source of evidence in divorce cases, the Daily Mail reported citing law firm Divorce-Online.

The firm said it has seen a 50 per cent jump in the number of "behaviour-based" divorce petitions that contained the word "Facebook" over the past two years. At least 33 per cent of the 5,000 petitions filed with the firm in the past year mentioned the website.

It isn't cited as a cause. It merely states that ONE LAW FIRM has the word 'facebook' in 33 per cent out of 5000 court petitions. Meaning they could have paid some PI to check out shit on their Facebook account.

Women can be fucking slimey cretins with or without Facebook.

Happens alot actually

But you shouldnt put the blame on facebook, but on the woman herself.

The one who stays with you regardless of temptation, is a keeper

Three guys that I know are going through divorces because their Mrs found incriminating things on Facebook. One of them was 6 months prego when she saw love letters on this fellas Facebook. Dudes one of my training partners. His life is really in the toilet. The Internet is one of the most dangerous tools on Earth.
Dear Chef Tim,
you have immensely shitty and stupid friends...
Thus, they deserve everything they get.

Sincerely,
Common Sense

PS, hopefully said stupidity isn't one of your traits as well---although, birds of a feather flock together, and often die together.

The internet is dangerous only for tools themselves.

Ouch! Happy New Year to you too. With Worldwide access at your finger tips the Temptation factor has been multiplied by millions. Nobody is perfect and they gave into it. That's their problem not mine. One of the secrets to my success has always been learning from others mistakes. These guys aren't a bad bunch. Their eyes were just bigger then their stomachs and they are in the street because of it. A relationship is the hardest job you'll ever have. The person you are at 25 isn't going to have the same wants ands needs at 35. You have to keep this in mind when your thinking about committing to someone for life and I guess they didn't. Happy New Year.

You seem like a smart bloke, I share that quality too and I hear what you're saying.

Too bad they don't understand the concept of never shit in your own backyard.

They were searching for something, for what they are missing...our society has put into our heads, that whatever we have, that there is something better out there, human beings have become "disposable"---and women make themselves more available at the click of a button...
Basically, your friends don't think, and or rationalize---risk vs reward...I see it all the time...

True we all grow and our wants and needs are diff from 25 vs 35...just becareful, as I once met a 65 yr old man who married some 40 yr old pillhead that he knew for 8 yrs, all because "he didn't want to die alone".

We all do stupid things, it's the fact that your friend is making the same mistake millions make---thus, he's a human lemming, and now he's jumped over the cliff....

You have a happy good yr Chef Tim...ever tried a boiled Ostrich egg?

People have to take responsibility for their own actions.  All the internet does, in my humble opinion, is make it faster and easier for people to do what was already in their heart to do anyway.

I'm not going to sit here and judge anyone because I'm not perfect either, but for anyone to "blame" Facebook or any other website for a divorce is just silly.

The problem is most married couples give each others passwords as a token of trust. This is why men these days are becoming pussies... Under no circumstance should you give your wife or gf your password. Be a man andd tell her to fuck off.
