my original choice was to see No Country for Old Men but my girlfriends son wants to see Rambo.

No Country was excellent.

Rambo was all right. The gore in it was cool.

Saw it; it sucked.  It wasn't as bad as Rambo III, but it was still really bad.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about this actor! Never seen his flicks..

Dick Rambone (born July 14, 1957) is a pseudonym for an American porn star. He took his performing name from his slight physical resemblance to actor Sylvester Stallone, who played Rambo. He gained notoriety for his large penis, which was also exceptionally thick. His penis ranks amongst the largest in the history of the porn industry.

***SPOILER WARNING***

i think instead of ending it with that battle just before he goes home they should have had them not got shot up so much and had them try to get out on foot with the army chasing them. that would have made it alot better. it just seemed to short and too hurried.

i like the way they tied it up at the end though.

I would have liked to see the British mercs reaction when he found out "The Boatman" was John Rambo, although the way he took out the gooks with the arrows was a cool way to show he was a bad muthafukker.

Yeah, that's why so many vets came to sly and thanked him personally.

War is so well understood by 12 year-olds.

Saw it last night. I liked it. Without a doubt, the most brutal combat footage ever. People getting blown to pieces by high caliber weapons...what's not to like? Awesome gore effects. Stallone's forearms looked pretty pumped...going to train mine a little harder next couple of months. The sound system at the theater was fantastic..They had it really cranked up.You could literally feel the explosions.  Anyone who likes this shit should definitely go see it and if it's too intense for you...then check your test levels!

Don't know about that but lots of shooting and explosions was exiting when I was a little kid. Not so much as an adult. But that's just my preference, I'm not into action movies. If the cover of a DVD has a action hero holding a gun (see any Steven Segal movie LOL) I know it's going to suck.

I do like some war movies like Apocalypse Now (one of the best movies ever made), Platoon, etc, but they were more than just "brutal killing, massive explosions and constant action".

Excellent movie for action junkies. It wouldn't be great without the gore, but that won't matter unless they try to edit it for TV some day!

I just saw it tonight

BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME for the Rambo fans out there.

It was a flawless end to the Rambo series.

The music, the tempo of the film, flashbacks, action... EXCELLENT

Stallone did one hell of a job with this film.

Sadly, I have to agree. Great action sequences, to be sure, but they couldn't make up for the lack of plot.
