Actually, I should back up and say I don't have a theory. I have a belief. And if you're asking for scientific "evidence" in support of my belief, I don't have any. It's not necessarily a scientific belief and I'm not a scientist. I really don't know how the people who believe that God created us all have attempted to prove this scientifically. I haven't read their material, websites, etc.

But if you're ever interested, Gould's book "Rock of Ages" discusses a lot of these issues. I haven't looked much into how different scientists reconcile their faith and their science because when I was a Christian, I just had no problem with it, science was science and religion was religion. I guess I had "NonOverlapping MAgisteria" wired into my brain

But I'll also say the theory of evolution has precisely the same problem when it comes to proving the origin of life.

It's the theory of EVOLUTION!!! By definition, it's about what happens AFTER life has started!!!
You want "origin of life" theories, you won't find them in evolution!!!
