CNN is telling callers Ron Paul is out of the race.

It's been that way from the start.  There are several of these different recordings.  At best you have to click through other options to finally get to Ron Paul.

GODDAMN THAT PISSES ME OFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day after day I watch CNN,  MSNBC,  CSPAN,  LOCAL News,   Nothing about Ron Paul.  The media should have the responsibility to include everyone and give them equal time.  People get fed what the media wants to feed them.

I guess Alan Keyes should be pretty upset too.  He's running for president and I never hear the media mention his name.  http://www.alankeyes.com/

This was about the public opinion polling.  Even at the start, it was hard or impossible to choose Ron Paul in these automated phone polls.

It was probably hard or impossible to choose Alan Keyes from the start too, and he had about as much chance to be president as Ron Paul.

We're talking about Ron PAul here,

You were the one that said Ron Paul was getting equal and fair coverage.

When the options for the question, "Who will you vote for?" doesnt even mention his name while they mention Romney, WHO IS OUT OF THE RACE,  does that make any sense to you?

Seriously, are you really that dense or do you just like to play devils advocate for the hell of it?

I don't recall saying Ron Paul got "equal" coverage.  I said he got more coverage than he deserved.  Why don't you get off his short and curlies for a second and look at the facts.  He was never a legitimate presidential candidate.  He has not won a single state.  He finished last or next to last in every single Super Tuesday race.  Despite his poor showings, he was invited to participate in nearly every single Republican presidential debate.

And I think Alan Keyes is apropos, because he had about the same chance to be president as Ron Paul.

You can lead a horse to water....

I think the point of the whole thread is getting off track a bit, you just won't admit to the fact that everytime he was mentioned in the media he was getting remarks like, "a longshot", "no chance", "won't win", "never make it". I'm getting the idea that you think that if these types of comments from the news goes on and on that it won't have an affect on the people that are watching, I think it does, big time.

You ever heard that journalists/reporters are suppose to report the news and not give their opinions cause it distorts the facts? Do you think it's the medias job to report the news or to give us their "two cents" everytime they finish a story? If they are making comments like the ones I mentioned before anyone even voted, what makes you think they will treat him fairly in any coverage or in debates that they sponsor?

Ah, nevermind... I don't think I wanna know your answer on this one, you're the same person that doesn't understand why people would be afraid of seeing military men running up and down their downtown streets shooting assault rifles and the like, while just about ever other  person that commented on the story understands why.

Oh really?  Did Alan have a shocking massive internet following?  Did he shock people with the amount of funds raised?  I've seen a huge grassroots campaign for Ron Paul.  I see Ron Paul signs everwhere.  I have never seen an Alan Keyes sign or people in mass on internet forums going apeshit for Alan or video's by Alan reaching the top viewed videos on youtube and google.  I have no idea how you can place them in the same category.

Here you can't really argue with this info Beach.  The difference between Ron and Alan is that Ron made a serious attempt.  Alan was never serious and didn't really even attempt at getting his campaign off the ground.

I place him in the same cateogry because Keyes had about as much chance to be president as Ron Paul.

Yes Paul made a serious attempt.  He had a great fundraising story.  He has a large internet following.  He participated in nearly every debate.

And I agree Keyes was never a serious contender.  Perhaps he was in his own mind.

Point is neither one was ever going to be president.  Before the primaries/caucuses, we were debating the poll numbers and whether they are accurate.  Now all you have to do is look at the actual election results.  The results show that Paul was never a contender.  Just look at Super Tuesday.  He was last or next to last in pretty much every state.

So, yes he was a stronger candidate than Keyes, but in terms of whether he was ever a legitimate presidential candidate, he really is no different than Keyes IMO.
