4 week Test Prop cycles
« on: February 19, 2008, 03:46:13 PM »
Stats :
36 yo, 6' 223 10% bf. Trained for 20 years
Did one prior cycle 10 weeks test e 500/week.
Currently on 3rd week of pct and just started igf-1 lr3.
Goal from here : over the next couple of years I would like to be around 240-245 at 10% bf

Looking ahead here is what I was thinking to try in 6 weeks:

1-4 Test Prop 150mg/eod
5-8 pct ( clomid /nolva protocol)
5-8 IGF-! Lr3 40mcg on training days

9-12 repeat week 1-4
13-16 repeat weeks 5-8

And so on...

I realize normally prop is taken 6-8 weeks but I figured less time on = easier recovery.  Also when i was on Test E I noticed that most gains came in weeks 4-7.  Maybe with a shorter ester gains will come weeks 2-4.

What do you think?

Little short burst cycles are a waste of time. Even if you're using faster acting items such as prop, your body still needs time to adjust if gains are going to set in at all.

The biggest problem with what you proposed...on, off, on, off like you mentioned is going to be very tough on your body. You would be repeatedly shutting yourself down, only to revamp to immediately shutdown again...this cannot be a good thing.

you should stay on the test a minimum of 10 weeks imo.
