That toilet is still like the wild west.

Now it's a federally funded toilet.

Living between New Orleans and Memphis, it's about a 2 hour drive either way, I can tell you I much prefer going to Memphis over New Orleans. New Orleans is the filthiest place in this country not to mention one of the most dangerous. It's crime rate consistently rates amongst the worst in the country... and it was the same story before Katrina hit.

The thing about when Katrina hit is that it hit the Mississippi coastline harder than New Orleans and the Mississippi coastline is back to normal now, you can hardly find a place of leftover wreckage from the hurricane. But if you go to New Orleans, it's still in shambles. The media likes to make Ray Nabin (New Orleans Mayor) like he's a saint, when in fact he depends on welfare as much as his citizens. Instead of screaming at the government to help you, you should have had an emergency plan ready with the governor of your state to institute military aid. Instead Mississippi had to send military aid to the bastards as Nabin cried like a bitch.

Hope this clears it up for everyone....

The entire city actually smells like a construction site porta potty that hasn't been emptied for months.  It's just horrible.
