That sounds like a right wing thing to do. Send a decoy out to act like an ass and then beat him up after the fact....massive plan.. 
Wel, well well. It turns out i was right. It was staged to make McCain look like he came out to save the day.....
The guy says he's met mccain several times and was hired to throw "Red meat" out to the audience. And Mccain promptly threw him under the bus!!!
And said he wouldnt tolerate this....
Hopefully the guy learned not to trust his own party......Hilarious
