I had Rk in the 90's.  The lasik laser had just come out but I chose Rk because I wanted to have something my doc had a long successful track record with.  Even after the numbing/dilating drops wore off I could see perfectly!  Have experienced zero problems and I wish the same for you :)

thanks Stella, technology is really amazing. within 6 hours after the surgery (3 of which i slept) i was once again watching tv without glasses, something i haven't done in years...

I'm promoting the hell out of this surgery to anyone that has glasses or contacts, don't wait, do it today...

It was great the next morning to be able to clearly see the clock w/o wearing glasses or contacts!

My workout partner had lasik.  She had to have one adjustment afterward and still has to wear contacts to see at 20/20 but her vision is much better than it was prior to the surgery.

That's why I haven't done it.  I don't want to still have to wear contacts after.

When insurance covers it I will consider getting it done.

BRingit still wears glasses that look like coke bottles....he looks like Duddly from Differnt Strokes, remember the kid that got molested by the owner of the bike shop, that's bring it...HOMO!!!

insurance won't cover it because it's elective and considered cosmetic, it is the best thing ever, anyone with glasses should do it..
