Flex was an overrated bag of shit, he got by on popularity every year after 1993. Had he never broke out like he did in 1993 he would have been a also ran who could never quite put it together to win a show.

Flex's low self-esteem is astonishing. I remember him saying that he would wear shirts around his wife at home even when he was in shape mainly because he was self-conscious about the way he looked. wtf yo

wow...

does anyone know if he is still married to madeline?

that a person would believe his wife would even care how he looked day to day is disturbing and cynical.

Probably why it's rare to see an offseason picture of him.

His name is Paul Love. From what I've read of Flex's book, Paul raised his twin girls to be ladies and support their men thru thick and thin. He was even trying to push Madeline and Flex together, Flex kinda knew  she was no joke..it almost  never happened. And she would tell Flex when he was off or on, none of that "yes-man" stuff.  So when he came in off, she had already told him, he didn't need to hear it from the judges.

Flex was an insecure dude who needed a good therapist, but is blessed with a good wife and kids
