Nice pics of the nice man!  Never got past a few pages of anything, too ignorant I guess.

But I LOVED Nightwood. She was a talented lady.

Here're two men who were brilliant, but not nice.  :) One is easy to identify, the other not so much. Hard to tell which one was worse.

I forgot to name them, :D but the second is Andre Breton, founder of the Surrealist movement.  He does look like Picasso in that pic though! I could only find a photo of him in his old age, but you can see some resemblance, I think.

Yes, beautiful!  A brilliant man, with an incredible imagination. Here's another interesting concept:

Andre Breton kicked Salvador Dali out of the inner circle of the Surrealist group for some nothing transgression.  When he was taken in by the US during the war, he refused to learn a single word of English for four years because he felt it was an inferior language.  He treated women like crap. Meglomaniac. Drama Queen. But brilliant.  :)

Here's another brilliant assh*le, as sync pulse but it.  William Burroughs, who wrote Naked Lunch, but also killed his wife while trying to shoot an apple off her head.  Neglected his son, who died of alchoholism-related complications.

This is him esplaining what happened with the wife.

SP, you're good at this! Great choice.  :)

My brilliant asshole selection of the day is Truman Capote.
