You saw the line of senators about to enter the room.

Hilary was maybe 6th in line.  Mccain at the front of the line.

In a matter of 2 seconds, she cooly twisted and stepped in front of 4 other senators so the camera caught her and mccain entering the patraeus hearings side-by-side.  No sign of obama, he was further back in the line.

IMO it was a good way to put herself as mccain's rival in the upcoming battle.

he's telling us how good things are thanks to the surge.  get us nice and warm and comfy.

then he'll tell us his solution for fixing it, which of course, is carpetbombing iran.
