Yellow piss with vitamins?

Any one else have this happen, everytime I take a multivitamin like 3 hours later my piss is neon yellow.  Anyone have any clues on this?

yeah my piss turns a radioactive yellow after taking my Animal Paks...im pretty sure it means I just pissed my money in the toilet.

When you take mega doses of water soluble vitamins (B Complex and C), any amount that your body doesn't use just gets excreted in your urine.

That's the reason you're supposed to take B-Vitamins when trying to pass a drug-test.  If you dilute your urine, it will be as clear as water - and that's the testing facility's first "red flag" that you've tampered with the specimen.  By taking B-Vitamins, even if your urine is heavily diluted, it will still have some color to it.

yeah man..i'm taking alot of vitamins and it's came out yellow and damn near neon green a few times HAHA but i know i'm drinking plenty of water. I bet if i turned the lights out  my cock would look like a fucking light saber switched on some days...

It's the vitamin B2 (riboflavin).  No harm.

I don't know the scientific reason WHY (nor do I care), but it is what all the literature/text I've read says.  It's excess B2 and being a water soluble vitamin, it's excreted in the urine.

I had some blood work done a few years back and I was drinking those Twin Lab energy drinks alot (they were on sale  ;D)(the ones in the little orange cans) and my B's  (I think B12) were off the charts.  The doc said no problem...

not sure if you can measure most b's via a blood test but high doses of certain bs have quite toxic effects. B6 can cause nerve damage for instance, and B3 liver damage, so the water soluble=safe is really not true.

i would have to see the ingredients on the energy drinks, your more then likely right about riboflavin being the main culprit however.
