I think we all agree that drugs have been part of bodybuildin for some time now and do make a difference in a physique. I think one of the worst "side effects" of modern , extreme drug use is this belief that "drugs mean everything" in building muscle size and a great physique.
Drugs did NOT do away with the need for a strict diet or cardio to get lean and cut.
Drugs did NOT do away with the need to train hard in the gym to build muscle.
Drugs did NOT change the need for great genetics to build a pro level physique.
Drugs did NOT do away with the requirement to be motivated and have a the desire to win.
What the drugs DID do, was increase the standards for required mass, and freaky hardness that all top pros must now have to do well.
Take away most of the drugs and you still have a great pro physique. Granted, they won't be as big or freaky, but it would place more emphasis on the classic lines and overall cuts and shape , etc.
