Movies I watched lately

I am Legend- Not very good imo. I expected more from all the hype it was given.  C


30 Days of Night- It was ok, probably the dumbest ending of any movie I have ever seen. The hero could wait five minutes and the vampires would leave or he could infect himself, fight one of them and obviously die. I would have waited the five minutes. C+


The Invisible- It was ok, some kid got beat down by a hot chick, yes a hot chick, and left for dead. Kind of slow. C

There Will Be Blood- Pretty good movie, kind of long. Dan Lewis was pretty good as always. Reminded me of Citizen Kane, with the Oil business as a backdrop instead of the Newspaper business. B

Gone Baby Gone- Brilliant movie. A great kidnapping story with plenty of twists. Best movie I have seen in a while. A+

Danielson,

I agree with you about 30 days of night having a bad ending. But the reason he couldn't wait for daylight to come as the town was burning up was becasue his wife would've burned alive under the car she was hiding under. He injected himself with the vampire blood to create a diversion so she could escape while fighting the head vampire.

The movie was going by the book(which I defintely recommend reading) but the ending wasn't entirely like the book.

I know, it just seemed so dumb. He didn't even kill them all, he only got the head vampire. Plus it seemed like she may have made it after all cuz the sun came up right away.

I Am Legend was pretty good, when the main character dies sometimes thats a good thing. Don't like sun shiny happy endings all the time.
