very true, but his arms look 14 - 15", which is quite big for someone with very little bf as he has. also look at his abs and chest. very well developed in terms of thickness

hes in 'contest condition' year round and doesnt workout. hes a minister dude hes 45 and has muscle maturity i suppose very average muscle size. people are just waaaaaaaaaaaay too fat to see the carving underneath. 99 percent of people on this board would not have an ab showing if they were in that slouched position like that. being ALL THE WAY lean is the key dude, his arms are more like 13 or so. they look bigger and better because of the seperation and no fat at all on the arms

nah, definately more like 14 - 14 1/2" flexed. look at the size of his tris. i do agree though, more like muscle maturity developed from years of not being a slouch and living an active life. healthy eating probably didnt hurt either.

hey relax, I said he looks lean and healthy.  He has great genes and looks to be in good low bodyfat.  However in my opinion, he can't deadlift 300 and I doubt he can bench 200. 

Some people train to be lean, tight, and healthy, and that's great.  Some train to be able to move big weight, which I don't think he can.  I'm not insulting the guy- I'm just saying his look doesn't denote 'power'.

We're talking apples and oranges here.  When you say:
its what you 'look' like you can lift.
you're defining 'competitive bodybuilding' in the traditional sense.
I could diet down to 145 and I'd be a shredded beast.  his lines would be more pleasing due to genetics, but we'd be roughly the same size and bodyfat.

I'm not about 'competitive bodybuilding'.  I'm also not about impressing people with how I look. I'm about slowly building muscle at 12% bodyfat, gaining strength in my lifts, and working to eventually be 200 or 210 pounds at 10% bodyfat.

The man in these pics will never be 200 pounds at 10% bodyfat.  At current pace, he'll always be 140-150 pounds, 8% bodyfat.  He will not be strong, which is my goal.  he might "look" like he's strong, but that's not a goal I care about.
