You didn't read my post did you? I said everyone who thought we were in a recession was incorrect, I said it grew SLOWLY. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just made it an issue because no one on here would have been able to admit they were wrong.
Joe this is one of the funniest threads I've read in awhileYou truly do suck at spelling which is why you should use spell checkWhat we're heading into is stagflation which is the worst of all worlds
On CNBC's "Squawk Box" Warren Buffett told Joe Kernen, Becky Quick, Carl Quintanilla and Steve Liesman that he thought the country was in a recession, even if economists weren't quite ready to label it as such:Warren Buffett : "Yeah, I think we're in a recession. It is defined in a certain way by the national bureau of economic research. But I think it's defined by the man on the street differently than whether there have been two quarters of reported growth. Incidentally, when growth is below 1% per a year, it's really falling on a per capita basis because our population increases about 1%. Even though the national bureau uses an absolute figure, if it's up .1 % they don't count that as a recessionary quarter. We are in a recession unless you want to stick strictly to the technical definition which I don't think has much meaning to the fellow who's lost his job or who's facing a money market fund that isn't paying."joeloco, i'm sure you understand economics better than i, or warren buffett. clearly your "economic commentary" is amateurish and uninformed. please keep your misinformation to yourself, as it helps no one in this forum.NT
incorrect joeloco, .6% "growth" in GDP is considered a negative number when normal 1% population growth is added to the equation.1.0% GDP is considered the break even number. any number under 1.0 is in the RED.NT
How come Joe is not talking..............now?
Because I'm working...........is that ok?
....About the non-ression "ressession" we're supossedly in that was announced today that we're not in??
typical joeloco, argue until you're completely discredited.......then VANISH. NT
I'd very interested in how you land in the conclusion that we're not in a recession?
Are you suggesting that even Paris Hilton is better informed about economic issues than the Coach?
