It = very very limited. Muslims in Norway has integrated quite good, compared to muslims elsewhere in Europe, and there = not that many of them.

But certain immigrant groups, especially from Africa = overrepresented on crime and unemployment statistics, especially people from Somalia.

Norway might get even more restrictive immigration laws soon, people = pretty fed up with them due to certain crimes done by africans and shit lately.

At the same time, many kids and young adults from "muslims areas" have become quite modern, they are not following in their parents religious footsteps, and many of them are going openly out against discrimination of women and arranged marrage, and even their religion. This might have to do with the fact that Norway = a strong secular society, and religion is not taken very seriously by most here. Most of Debusseys immigrant friends = not religious at all, although they come from a strong religious background.

Not to sidetrack too much but the real issue for me with Norway is the (understandable) reluctance to join the EU. I realise this is one of the biggest debates around in Norge these days. Still, who knows what may happen? Iceland allows EU citizens to work there without work permits or visas so it is possible that Norway may do the same and in contrast to the Muslims, were I to have the privilege of living in Norway, i would bring some knowledge and education to the country. I like Denmark too but having studied soem Danish I find the language just too hideous to listen to; of Swedish, Danish and Norwegian (Bokmal and Nynorsk included) Bokmal sounds the best. Danish just sounds like spoken vomit. Apart from that I love Copenhagen and the Danes are great people.

They're getting tired of the current ruling Labour party and opted to go Conservative over social-fascism.

My gut feeling from the feedback major media outlets have received is that immigration, multiculturalism and healthcare are main areas of concern. Ergo, people obviously feel like their toes are being stepped on by muslims.

What about this new terrorism bill that was introduced in 2005, voted against and now is back on the floor will it get pushed through this time?

Well, seats in the house of commons are still the same, meaning Labour still have majority control, so the people that voted down the terrorism bill are still there.

But... the overwhelming loss of seats in the local elections sends a clear message to Labour that the people want a change.

This fact could make Labour change their position on such things as immigration more in line to what the Conservatives promise and what the people want.

They HAVE to start listening now, otherwise they are out. Honestly tho, I don't think there's anything they can do that will get them elected in the next general elections.
