So, you have been doing a bodyfat test periodically to make sure you are not losing muscle?
That is the ultimate goal so if that is the case, good work.

my waistline is getting smaller than it was this time last year when i cut and veins are bulging more
muscle doesn't come off that easily, magazines like to make you think that it does so you will buy the protein supplements advertised
also overbulked guys cut down to a certain weight and expected to be much more muscular and leaner, they thought a lot of their excess fat and water weight was muscle so they assume they lost muscle rather than admit that they were fat

as long as you continue to lift weights and eat a certain amount of protein you won't lose much if any muscle at all
