Joe, when clients shop around they look for the following things:
1. Trainer's Background & Education
2. Facility & Equipment
3. Cost of Training
While the above is often true of "general public fitness centers," results can carry much greater merrit.
Client lists, testimonials, and reputation are more relevant for Coach's demographic.
Athletes, and those who train like them, are usually more concerned with their progress than a gym's square footage or if the equipment is 2 yrs. old or 5 yrs. old.
If they can get better results in a smaller facility with older equipment, they will.
And they will also pay good $$ for access to the place, but more importantly,
the guy who can give them those results.
