Strange none of the 'common man' really cares, it is just a mild annoyance. I assume as we don't produce anything so it won't cause job cuts and are so small it's impossible to drive long distances so gas last forever [?]

That's probably because you can drive from one end of your island to the other in about what... 2 hrs?

I'll bet the tour boats are feeling it though. Sure they can raise their charter prices to cover...
...but I bet some of the commercial fishermen might be feeling the pinch of bunker fuel prices,
...the rest of the island will feel it when tourism drops due to fuel surcharges imposed by airlines & tour operators
