sad but true.

however those MTV-watching morons' votes count just as much as ours do.

If team obama can find a way to get them off their asses and vote, I think we can all agree it's in the bag for him.  Youth never votes.  If they do, mccain's in trouble!

anyone remember when p diddy participated in the "rock the vote" thing....did kids really turn out to vote?

The funniest part was when p diddy went to hug Laura Bush, the look on her face was priceless.

ahhh i dont think this will influence votes just affirm the thoughts in those who were going to vote the vast majority of MTV viewers probably arent even of voting age as well as the vast majority more than likely not being voting citizens even if of age.

I'm glad you mentioned that situation or incident because Laura Ingraham actually discussed that by explaining how it was symbolic to see a mogul level black icon basically behave by trying to bow at the presence of America's Very First Lady who isn't anything besides a first class member of the Mr.President's cabinet. Another thing is the fact that p lil' didn't-dy supposedly shares the same date of birth as the Mrs.President and that is why john sean the combs went to pay or pray his religion respect to the 1st lady when he began his VOTE OR DIE 2004 rock-ing the vote "sheeple (black people) training".

again this only goes to prove my point the single young/teenage mother probably is already voting for obama that is if they are voting at all. (probably banking on his socialist utopia)

yes, logically, you're absolutely correct, tony and kh300.

The problem is, there are a lot of young moms who will see that ad, and will vote AGAINST mccain as a result.

MTV might be single-handedly trying to win this election for Obama.  Think about it.  They don't allow a single political ad for all 27 years of their existence.  Suddenly they allow it, when they KNOW it'll be a frickin landslide 1-sided advantage for Obama.  NO WAY will Mccain win over mtv voters.  If anything, he'll alienate them or hurt his chances.  But Obama?  The same guy who listens to Jay-Z and grins on the cover of rolling stone and wants to end the war?  He can pick up millions of votes.  He can also get donations, and most importantly, he can have millions of bored kids working for his campaigh, 'spreading the word'.

And he has unlimited money to spend on commercials.  Hmmmm

MTV moved from a innovative exciting music video channel in the early 80s to a medium that has been at the forefront of contributing to the problems with the youth in this country.  The glorification of rap gods with their 'f-ck you' attitudes and materialism to our kids is disgusting and changed a generation of kids.

I stopped watching MTV when I was 15. Most of the people I know did the same. The only people I know that still watch it watch the Real World and turn it off.

and the same young moms will look at their check books wondering how they will pay the bills, buy the gas, and feed their family when Marx Obama raises their taxes 20% and takes all that extra spending money from them.

Another example of the LEFT IN THE NINETIES M T V GENERATION is the program I saw on CNN during Larry King Live last night with a once very popular pop music princess who was discussing this year's version of the ROCK-ING THE VOTE campaign slogan. The legend himself Larry King actually for some strange and unclear reason had Tina Aguilera on his show discussing politics and the impact of getting America's adolescent youth to go to the polls and into voting booths.

My simple point is all that kind of stuff should ONLY BE FOR EVERYDAY ADULTS who care about politics and knows how "politician news" can really affect the masses since so many young minions can just do their lame MTV inspired "Bush-Bashing" while being eaten up by futuristic religion after enjoying "the gen-x" gossip years about the sex life of..........William Jefferson "Clown-ton".
