Superpump 250
« on: June 06, 2008, 12:21:37 PM »
Who here likes it and who doesn't.  I have read many threads debating this topic.  I love the product and have used in 5-6 different times.  But, I have read that many people really dislike it or it gives them stomach problems, all of which I have not had.

I liked it, it gave a great pump but very little "Kick" as a work out booster.
I did not mind the taste and had no stomach problems what so ever.
Not my favourite work out booster but defnitly not a waste of money

Save your cash for decent supplements. Buy Whey Isolate, BCAA's avoid products like superpump250.

Solid Advice....

If you want to try a pre-workout product SuperPump 250 is the best IMO

Thanks Pete, However...I do not doubt that it leads the way with NO supps.. But besides a decent pump it offers little else...I get a more wired with a cup of coffee.

I agree 100%...I've read numerous times that the ingredients in N.O. products have no direct effect on helping one gain muscle.  The 'pump' is definitley more of a psychological effect, and the products could possibly give a trainer more vascularity which in turn could improve physical appearance..... BUT youre basically getting the same results from NoDoz caffeine pills, an energy drink or an expresso/coffee, and your saving a decent amount of $$$

Exactly. And you should see how much these sonsofbitches charge for their supps in Australia. It's robbery...Over $100 for 800grams.

more blood flow to the muscles and being more energized definitely cant hurt gains. and most of those contain things like creatine, beta alanine, arginine, caffiene; all of which can assist the physique in some way...

i still prefer a 200mg caffiene tab and/or dbol BUT hey do whatcha wanna do  :D

I must admit, a long time ago i did use Nitro-Tech, and i must say, i got better errections while using it, but i didnt gain 40lbs of shredded muscle like muscle tech claimed, not that i expected that anyway.

My review:

I will never use it again.  To be honest, it may be above average for an NO product, but is NOT worth the side effects, at least not to me.

As for getting the best pump, I would recommend a bulk beta-alanine powder.  It is cheaper and more effective.  Might not taste great, but I personally don't mind.

I've had different reactions to SP250.

Most of the time, it has helped me wake up before training. And i do like the increase in vascularity (albeit for a short period of time). However on 2 separate occassions, its made my heart race so much that i stopped the work out.

I never got the superdumps

i ran out a few months ago and doubt ill use it again unless i get it for free.
