Bitching about cards.......

It's funny how everybody is talking nowadays about which card is better, which organization is better etc....

When I was growing up, training and fighting in small Jiu-Jitsu and Karate tournaments there was no UFC. No Affliction. No Pride. No internet. There was FUCKING NOTHING. Only The Black List was around and good luck seeing one of those tournaments since they never operated in the states.

Nowadays we have different organizations. Fighting is acceptable and we can view it on TV, the Internet or we can even go see a show!!!

Everytime I see someone yapping about this venue is bullshit, this card is bullshit, this organization sucks and so on it just makes me think how I wish I could watch the shows people are bitching about today when I was growing up and training.

I started training in 1977. When I talked about fighting in the 80's people looked at me like I was an idiot. How many others have been training like me way before we could watch MMA on the TV or the Net? Just curious. It seems like some people are so spoiled they have the luxury of picking who they want to see fight. Shit, I wish I was that lucky when I was growing up.

This isn't to start a bitchy war between people I was just trying to see was in the same boat as me and wishes they could pick between the UFC and the Affliction card years ago?

I also have damn near every UFC fight as well as K-1 and other smaller organizations. I have over 5 terabytes of fights.

First off I fail to see how I admonished anyone and second my missing Pride has nothing to do with any one organization being better than the other.

Obviously you failed to miss the point. I LIKE WATCHING FIGHTS. Did you get that? I wasn't able to do that when I was growing up. I was old enough to drink before the UFC had there first fight.

Jay Glaser was just on best damn sports show with Rizzo,fedor,barnett and sylvia and he called the affliction card the best one ever since the early days of pride and UFC.....
