  i figured this might be the place to ask this..... we start drug testing at work soon and i use a bit of ephidren well i have slowed down alot on it in the last month  what kind of life does it have in my system and also would it even show up at all or will it just look like i am talking cold pills

If you work for the Government they dont give a shit about ephedrine. They test for Opiates, marijuania, hallucinges,barbitutes, and coke. NO STEROID TEST FOR GOVERNMENT. if that was the case half the military would be fucked. And also Ephedra alkaloids is legal. You can buy it at Max Muscle in a fat burner or simply EPHEDRINE boxes. wrong.    Ephedrine (and synephrine and pseudophed) can show as a false positive for methamphetamine during "screeing tests" of some individuals.

Which means you should just tell the testers that you're using ephedrine. They can of course differentiate between meth and eph if the less sophisticated test shows a positive.

  cool thats the one kind of result i was wondering about   Its not goverment i work in the oil and gas construction industry in canada  and it is becomming a new thing to have a yearly test done and then if i am on a site and some muppet cuts his hand off or something then we would have to all submit again


  Its a new policy in our area and its weird seeing some of these old dudes who you wouldnt have guessed to be pot smokers are kind of worked up about this lol all i will do is stop a week out

Yes, this is true.   My cousin got popped earlier this spring on a piss test because of the high doses of Pseudophed he was taking for a sinus infection.   Its not always easy though with a simple retest.  He ended up being retested twice.  You can also end up like him now, where he's on the "random" testing schedule for his workplace every time it comes up now.  He swears its because of that positive "screening" test.

Well, in that case theres always the infamous "poppy seed"  muffins to worry about.

Supposedly taking lots of Vitamin C increases excretion of ephedrine so it reduces the window you test positive. Then taking baking soda just before the test has the opposite effect, reduces excretion of metabolites if there are any left.

sinces Amphetamines can only be shown on a urine drug test for a max of 4 days.
just to be safe i would stop taking it 7 days before your test.
