I've had the same doctor for 10 years now. He was cool enough to get me on TRT, would prescribe me anything I wanted. he'd consult with me for 30 minutes and never rush any of my appointments. I needed Hydrocodone, he'd give me 90 pills. Testosterone anytime I wanted refills, then out of the blue I get a call from the hospital that he's no longer working there anymore and I need to pick a new PCP. I asked where he went and they said they didn't know. When I google him it shows he's still with them. I go to find a new doctor and it's like Tindr for doctors. Just their pics and bio. I choose one and go see him. Comes into the room like a bat out of hell. Just talking away, not asking me questions but sort of asking. Goes on a tirade why I'm on TRT. He says I'm too young, it's linked to prostate cancer and heart disease and wants me to get blood tests to ensure I even need it blah blah. Goes on his soapbox about opiates and how I don't need them, sets a new visit after my blood test and leaves. What a piece of shit. He rushed the entire appointment and didn't even give me a chance to talk.
If he tries to pull my TRT I'll be straight with him. Tell him it helps me feel better and if he won't prescribe it I'll just buy it online and risk getting sick from UG drugs. He can't just pull the plug though. Wouldn't stopping my weekly shot cold turkey fuck up my levels? Hate these stupid doctors who are stuck in the past.
