I powerlifted for years and did end up looking like that. It's all about getting out of the sport at the right time and moving into a different realm when the physique is ready for it. But without my powerlifting experience, I wouldn't have the muscle density that I have today. It was also powerlifters who taught me proper form and technique in the gym, which enabled me to understand the weights and their effects on my body a whole lot more than I would have gotten if I stepped straight into the bodybuilding world.
