Muscletech said this guy was going to be the next multi year Mr. Olympia, said he eats his rice with a protein scoop, benches 711 pounds, does reverse grip benches with 500 pounds for countless reps and does 40 miles of cardio a week, what happened to this wonder of nature?

I don't recall any MuscleTech ads claiming that Whte would be the next Mr. Olympia. I do remember those that quote White as saying (as he did in his MD column) that he would win the New York Pro show.

Sixth place, in your pro debut, given the lineup at that show, is pretty good. He's getting all this flak, because he proclaimed that he'd win, hands down. From what I've read, he will not compete again, until the 2009 New York show.

just saw it while looking through an old copy of Flex i have last night, it said all of the things i listed.

as for his promise to retire if he failed to place top 5 at the NY, Ben wrote he was too excited with the improvements he has made to just quit now

physique wise he needs MUCH wider lats and bigger legs

It's also the same excuse that P.O.S. Kamali used when he spouted shit about Shawn Ray. Then it died down, Kamali apologized and then started up again a few months later. I remember one article where KK said he was going to win something like 10 Olympia's, and then come back after being retired for 10 years and win one last one....just to piss off Shawn Ray.

Kamali would even be compared to SR in his wildest dreams.
