Yeah, it isn't looking good for League.
Honestly (and this is just my thinking) is that League is becoming less popular and the players less marketable because the game is now dominated by islanders. Im not being racist or anything, but they don't do the game any favours. Sure they are great athletes, but they don't represent the game well. Most of them come over here, don't have much education at all and struggle when it comes to doing an interview or something.
I mean take a look at the fucking rabbits, sometimes i think im watching some kiwi team or some shit...
your right, the islanders are really nice when your around them, but when it comes to interviews there pathetic, they are uneducated, that's ok , I'm not that bright either but My job does not rely on me talking to the nation after each game.
When is the last time your see someone wear a NRL hat? i see more NBA and MLB caps in Sydney then any NRL team.
