He's a dignified guy with some defense credibility. Good speaker. Safe VP choice that can make mccain look interesting.
But...
He's pro-abortion. And realistically, mccain's veep will be the next president, if Mccain retires after one term, or if a 71-year old guy with recurring cancer and the toughest job on the planet finds out he can't handle the stress.
How do the anti-abortion repubs here feel about a guy that will replace justices with pro-abortion folks?
