I was there competing and I must say I was shocked that they gave the overall to Lavoie because he won a pro card already earlier in the evening. He was without a doubt, the hardest guy on stage, but he doesn't have those "show" bodyparts like shoulders and arms that make you go "wow." With that being said I do think he deserved to win because it's totally different when you're watching it live than looking at pictures. Watching it live it was clear he would win but when you look at pictures you're like wtf???

Somebody who was there please tell me what this guy was missing?

One guy taking two Pro cards in One show is a disgrace.
That lineup was jammed packed with others who deserved that second card, what a waste!

All that time, prep, diet to watch someone take two cards in one show, it's a DISGRACE!

It's not a disgrace...it's called a competition, and one guy happened to be the best of both classes.

If someone else "deserved it"...then THEY would have won.

exactly !

Marc was the best in both classes so nobody else deserved the pro statut

I was there and competed and the guy deserved both wins. He was the best in the contest.

Great physique, was missing conditoning.  Should do alot of damage in the future.   I'd switch 1st and 2nd in the Middle & welters but was close. thought the judging was very fair.

Why is it a  disgrace ???  there were several guys who dersevd a 2nd card but the rule only allow the best guy in the masters and open to get  a card fortunately or unfortunately one guy was both. If you mean there should be a rule against that i'd agree but until such a rule it was the right call
