I think it is implying the same thing.

That's some serious spin.

One of the great things about this country is people can do nothing but complain and they have that right, and others, like me, have just as much of a right to tell those whiners that they suck.

"Anti-American", "America Basher" that is trivial and beside the point.  You do an excellent job of gumming up threads with that kind of garbage.

By the way, was there a certain instance in this thread where someone accused mightymouse of accusing anyone of being Anti-American Beach Bum?  Did you just pull that out of your ass?

I'll assume you agree with both quotes.

1.  Why is a child punishment?  You can answer this question without turning this into an abortion rant.

2.  When did this country become "not what it once was?"  Is there a specific date?

3.  Why would you not want your children to grow up in this country?  The greatest ever!

If you don't live in US, then please, ignore my questions and move on, you won't be voting anyway.

I'm fine with the first quote and all I can say about the second quote is that I agree with the sentiment (i.e. if his kids make a mistake then he'd like them to have options) but he probably could have used a better word than "punishment" to describe an unwanted pregnancy.  Then again, without the benefit of a "choice" and unwanted pregnancy could very well be construed as a punishment for the mistake of not using contraception

To the first quote, I'd don't think you can put an exact date on it but I'd say starting around the time of Reagan and definitely after Bush was "selected" as leader.  At that point Bush/Cheney started their campaign of cronyism, secrecy, and then, after allowing our country to be attacked mulitple times, started chipping away at our civil liberties and putting us on the road to financial disaster.

BTW - I'm glad Palin is proud of her daughter but I have no respect for a parent who is too stupid to realize that teenagers (and adults) sometimes have a hard time abstaining and when that happens they need to have a back up plan ..... maybe something as simple as a condom.

What is Obama going to do differently? Give up on fighting terrorist's who despise us, raise tax's, divide the US more then  ever by putting Democrat's against Republicans's, and not just on political issues but more deep rooted issues such as race, religion and social status. He's basically saying "It's us against them", them being American's.

Where did mightymouse accuse anyone of being anti-American because they criticized government?
You pin me down there Beach Bum.

So in your reality, American Bashing is synonymous with what?  Patriotism?  Pro-American senitments?

For the record,  MM said nothing about criticizing the government, you did.
