Bob Barr wins TX
« on: September 14, 2008, 05:25:49 PM »
Unlikely, but interesting...

Found this online:

"Both Republicans and Democrats failed to file their candidates for the ballot according to Texas Election Law. Now, while that sounds like bad news for both parties, it really isn't. According to the majority of polling, Barack Obama had very little chance to win Texas. The electoral votes in Texas add up to 34. You may see where I am going with this. If Barack Obama and his supporters draw attention to Texas, the law may be upheld and Bob Barr will be the only man on the ticket, thus making it 34 points harder for John McCain to win the election. That's like Barack losing California, an instant kill. So let's push for 3rd party equality and welcome he Libertarian candidate in Texas as a way for Barack Obama to win in November."
