Everytime Biden opens his mouth he makes the McCain-Palin ticket the obvious choice in this election.

"Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America....she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America, and quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me."

And now:

Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: "It's time to be patriotic ... time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut."

This guy is a buffoon. The first quote is true, but he has to be smart enough not to say it because it makes him look weak.

The second comment is absolutely sophomoric. Yeah, lets punish success even further. That is the only solution to help America's economy.

This guy likes to speak without thinking. If he does this in the VP debate, Palin is going to have a field day.

That loses at LEAST 100,000 votes for the man, right off the bat, along with many others in the same area or industry.

There's lots of ways to cut spending.  It can but does not always mean job loss.
I would argue if we hurt domestic companies and tax them higher, it will mean job loss.
Many are focusing on income taxes only.  Raising capital gains and payroll taxes is a huge deal to all businesses.

Good observation.  cutting foreign aid is a significant part of spending cuts.  I was totally with RP on this one.  When you are this far into debt, you cannot continue to give outrageous aid to other countries.  borrow from china to give to other countries?  WTF?!?!

How about the foreign policy section?

She's been vague for almost a month now - every specific Q has been met with "I'm prepared!", with no solid explanations.

During the debates, she'll be asked Qs requiring critical thinking.  She'll have 90 seconds to respond.  Biden can babble all day - he's been on senate foreign relations committee for 2 decades and knows the world better than most in the senate.  But I don't think she'll be able to deliver those 15-second "i'm ready to serve!" comebacks when asked to detail her solutions to conflits in specific regions among groups.  Even worse, when the moderator will ask her to commit to 1 postion or another... she can't go against mccain policy, but she might not know the asnwer.
